Rocket League will be releasing more music playlists this year in collaboration with Monstercat

Rocket League developer Psyonix and Monstercat, the leading independent record label in the Dance music scene, have teamed up once again to release four new music playlists in Rocket League in 2018.

Following the success of last year's Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 1 playlist, Psyonix and Monstercat will launch volume two in the Spring Feature Update, followed by three additional playlists throughout the year. All of the playlists will be shorter, EP length releases, to provide new, diverse music all year long.

The first playlist featured some of the biggest names under Monstercat's label including Feint, Tristam and Rameses B - the latter of who has had his music appear in other games including League of Legends.

Monstercat began the year by unveiling two new brands with two distinct and different styles of music - 'Instinct' and 'Uncaged.'

Instinct feature more pop-infused music will artists such as Didrick and Adam Young of Owl City. Meanwhile, Uncaged will be much heavier and hard-hitting with artists such as Gent & Jawns and Darren Styles. 

The Rocket League playlists will follow suit, alternating between both styles throughout the year. In addition to that, new in-game Monstercat-themed Flags will be added alongside the launch of each playlist.
